Edward Peake C of E (VC) Middle School are seeking an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant who will work with the Inclusion team, SENDCo and class teacher to support a pupil in Year 6 with additional needs supported by an EHCP (Education, Health & Care Plan).
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong organisational and planning skills, and a flexible approach to work.
- Enjoy a varied workload
- Be able to work on their own initiative but also be a committed team player.
- Have high levels of motivation and be able to engage and inspire
Candidates must:
- Have a good level of understanding of special educational needs
- Have a kind and supportive approach towards children
- Ensure the welfare of children is a priority
- Hold or be willing to train in Paediatric First Aid

Hours: 30 hrs per week (Full time/Part time)
Scale: Level 2a (Points 3 – 4) 18,887 -£19,264 (pro-rata)
