We have just ended another of our special weeks where a range of activities have been organised focusing on Anti Bullying and Parliament Week. We were delighted when our local MP, Mr Alistair Burt accepted our invitation to take part in our version of a parliamentary debate which asked the question ‘Should bullies be excluded from school’.
Mr Burt not only observed the debate and spoke to all Year 8 pupils at some length, but he also found enough time in his busy schedule to meet classes from other year groups. There was plenty of opportunity for question time, and Mr Burt showed most classes the contents of his red box!
