The School Council is led by a group of Year 8 pupils known as the Leadership team. Members of Year 8 are specially selected and are known as our School Council Leaders and School Council Communication Leaders.

Edward Peake’s School Council members are made up of a pupil from each of our form classes in each year group. School Council enables pupils to have a voice about what is important to them. The members meet regularly to help organise charity events and school projects throughout the year.

The councillors also take ideas and suggestions from their form class and bring these to the School Council meetings. The councillors encourage their classes to listen, discuss, share their views, and, where necessary, vote on actions that need to be taken.
